The complete Padr 1.8 guide.

Understand the day first. Let personal context build with proof

Padr becomes useful in layers. Begin with the cat, record the real day, connect only what helps and let the first Care pattern form without rushing it.

Today.

What matters now

Today brings the immediate state of food, water, litter, play, weight, wellbeing, notes and Care into one calm surface.

Log only what happened. If a supported device already contributed a fact, add a correction or confirmation only when the context needs it.

The cat's local day matters. Padr keeps care attached to the cat's time and home context rather than whichever timezone a travelling family member happens to be in.

Padr 1.8 Today shows Custard's food, water, litter, activity, wellbeing and weight in one view.

Storyline and Timeline.

What happened, in the order it happened

Storyline is the day-level Timeline. It holds supported device facts, manual logs, memories, comments, corrections and Care context without erasing their source.

Source

Know whether a fact came from a person, supported device, photo analysis or Padr reasoning.

Place

Home and device context stay attached when care spans locations.

Correction

Clarify what happened without pretending the original event never existed.

Padr 1.8 Wellbeing shows Custard as relaxed and explains the observation with familiar food, water and litter context.

Wellbeing.

Choose what you see. Let familiar context join it

Wellbeing brings a cat-parent observation together with recent Care and familiar routines.

After seven clear Care days with enough real records, Padr Basic can show the first Care pattern and keeps the latest seven Care days. Padr+ adds deeper comparisons while keeping its reasoning cautious and visible.

A familiar pattern describes what has been usual. It does not diagnose or prove that the routine is medically ideal.

Care.

Evidence, explanation and a useful next step

Care is the home for clear records: notes, vet visits, medication, preventive care and Grooming performed by a person.

A Grooming record can keep the bath or shower, haircut or coat trim, brushing, mat removal, nails, ears, eye area and hygiene trim together. Add who handled it, whether it happened at home, by a mobile service, salon or vet, plus the provider, cost, private rating, cat's response and next date when useful.

Padr+ litter photo analysis can review visible poo and pee evidence while keeping visit-only, unclear and mixed results separate. Regular photos cannot measure urine pH, crystals or hidden medical conditions.

Padr Basic Care records, the first Care pattern and care-critical concerns remain available without Padr+.

Padr 1.8 Care shows one practical litter item for Custard alongside current care records.
Padr 1.8 reviews a photographed cat-food package and shows its label details before it is added.

Food Corner.

Know the product. Know the portion. Know the cat

Search familiar foods or scan a barcode with Padr Basic. Use Padr+ to photograph a new pack.

Padr+ can identify a product and read its nutrition label from clear package photos, then asks the family to review the extracted details. Cat-specific calorie context can use the saved food, portions, profile, activity and a recorded veterinary target.

Link the actual food to a supported feeder. The machine knows how much it dispensed. The food record knows the energy. The family may know what remained.

Supported devices.

Connect the device that removes the most remembering

Padr can support selected PetKit, PetLibro, Neakasa, Smart Life, Tuya and Home Assistant integrations, subject to model, connector, region and availability.

Water

Supported fountain state and relevant water facts can join the day without equating pump operation with drinking.

Food

Supported feeder events can contribute served amounts and cadence when the food link is correct.

Litter

Visits, weight and supported media can contribute separate facts without converting duration into pee or poo.

Support

Use in-app Padr Support for supported additions, tuning and fixes.

Padr is independent of the third-party brands it supports.

Pawtfolio, CatDay and Kastardos.

Keep the reason the record matters

Photos, videos and notes settle into the Timeline. CatDay gathers a chapter. Kastardos give the den a companion shaped from the real cat.

Pawtfolio

Save the moment with its real time and family context.

CatDay

Monthly kitten milestones and yearly adult celebrations turn care history into a story worth keeping.

A warm CatDay celebration made for the Padr website.

Kastardos

Use clear photos to create a recognisable personal companion where generation is available.

Neonatal nurture.

Small records for very small days.

Life stages.

Use the care view that belongs to this chapter

Bottle-fed kittens under eight weeks can use neonatal nurture for feeding, weight, stimulation, growth and weaning records.

The view supports continuity and a better veterinary conversation. It does not decide whether a kitten is medically safe.

As the cat grows, the history stays while the care context changes around the life being lived now.

Begin with the first real day.

Then let the den become theirs

Every new family receives Padr+ for seven calendar days. Padr Basic keeps the latest seven Care days and the first Care pattern.
